The main city of this circuit is Alwar. It is a 2 hours journey by train from Delhi and 100 Kms. from Delhi by road. Well connected by train from Delhi-Jaipur this city has become an important industrial center of Rajasthan.

Siliserh : 13 kms south west of Alwar is this beautiful spot where a lake and a place now converted into a hotel attracts the tourists. The lake covering10.59 sq kms. is surrounded by thick wooded hills and the beautiful palace10 built in 1845 AD by Maharaja Vinay Singh for his queen.

Tijara : A historic town situated 48 kms. North east of Alwar. It has a long and glorious history. It was once the capital 
of Mevat. The fort situated on the crest of a hill besides a famous Jain temple are places to visit.

Bayana : 36 Kms. from Bharatpur is situated this small town. The ancient name of Bayana was "Sripatha'' or "Sriprastha''. Bijaigarh fort is the center of attraction. This fort was built by Jadon Raja Bijai Pal in 1040 AD. It awas 
described as one of the most famous forts by "Babar'' the Mughal Emperor. There are many temples and a red sandstone pillar bearing an inscription of Vishnu vardhan.

Tonk : 96 Kms. from Jaipur on way to Kota is situated this famous town which was once the strong hold of the Pathan tribesmen of Afghanistan. The modern town was built by Nawab Ameer Khan as a result of a treaty with the British empire in 1818. The main attraction is the "Sunehri Kothi'' the garden mansion.

Toda Rai Singh : It is an ancient town of archeological significance founded  by the Nagas in the 4th century and was ruled by many rulers. Earlier this town was called as Takshakgadhi or Takshakpur. The town now gets its now name after the famous ruler of this area Rai Singh Sisodia. Few Baori (Water tanks) like Hadi Rani ki Baori are worth seeing. Ruins of ancient temples can be seen.

Karauli : It was founded in 1348 AD. The city is surrounded by a wall of red sandstone strengthened by bastions at several places. A city palace a lake and temples of Madan Mohan ji and Kalyan ji are places to visit. Karauli is now a days famous for stone work.
